Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing The Sneaker Hut for your footwear care needs. We are committed to providing exceptional service. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using our services. By utilising our shoe, bag, and cap cleaning, restoration, and repair services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please inform us promptly and discontinue the use of our services.

 

General Provisions:

 

  1. Suede and Nubuck Charges: An additional charge of £10 applies for the cleaning of suede and nubuck materials due to the specialised cleaning process required.

  2. Service Limitations: The Sneaker Hut reserves the right to refuse cleaning, restoration, or repair services for any shoes, bags, or caps at our discretion.

  3. Stain Removal: While we strive to achieve optimal results, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, including but not limited to wine, coffee, blood, oil, grease, paint stains, material/dye bleeding, gum, tar, or other items stuck to the soles.

  4. Pre-existing Damage: We do not accept responsibility for pre-existing damage or defects in items brought in for cleaning, restoration, or repair.

  5. Personal Items: The Sneaker Hut is not liable for any loss of or damage to personal or non-cleanable items left with us. Customers agree not to leave any items other than shoes, bags, or caps for cleaning, restoration, or repair.

 

Damage Policy:

 

  1. Quality Assurance: We make every effort to provide high-quality cleaning services. However, we do not accept liability for damage resulting from the normal cleaning process of items without care instructions provided by the customer. 

  2. Material Bleeding: The Sneaker Hut is not responsible for material bleeding, such as suede or leather dye, or any other changes that may occur as a result of the cleaning or restoration process. We will take precautions to mitigate such issues whenever possible.

  3. Glue Repairs: Glue repairs are not guaranteed. The success of the adhesion is dependant on the material and design of the sneaker and does not always last. 

  4. Sole Transplants: Sole transplants are carried out at the customers own risk, we make every effort to provide a high quality service but we are not a sneaker manufacturer and the finished result may not always be as 'perfect' as the original.

  5. Modifications: Including but not limited to replacing toe protectors, labels or branding eg. Nike tick or New Balance "N". The removal and replacement of these elements are carried out at the customers own risk, we make every effort to provide a high quality service but we are not a sneaker manufacturer and the finished result may not always be as 'perfect' as the original.

  6. Dyeing: All dyeing services are carried out at the customers own risk, the dyeing process is complicated and results vary based on colour choice and the material of the shoe. The Sneaker Hut reserves the right to refuse to carry out the dyeing process at our discretion.

  7. UGG Cleaning: The cleaning process of UGG boots can change the texture of the suede and cause colour loss.

Refund Policy:

​

  1. Lost or damaged Items: Claims for lost or damaged items must be made within 14 days of collection, delivery or estimated delivery date. Shoes that are confirmed lost/stolen after a Royal Mail investigation or agreed to be damaged by us we will pay out on but please be aware that shoes are ONLY worth the secondhand value NOT the original retail price.​

  2. We refund or replace the value of the shoes not the service as you would be receiving back the same or better value / condition.

  3. The price paid includes free return shipping by courier within the UK only and is insured for a maximum of £150, if you require more insurance please choose that shipping option at checkout so that on the journey of your shoes you could claim full value if receipt is provided

  4. We will return your Shoes by Royal Mail Tracked 48 and they will send full tracking details to you via email. Please make sure you are available to receive your delivery in person or redirect it to a Royal Mail pick up point as we will not be responsible for lost or stolen parcels that you have advised the courier to leave in a 'safe place' (eg. behind the bin or outside a backdoor) this is for the safe return of your Shoes.

Discretionary Refunds: The Sneaker Hut is not obligated to refund any amounts paid by the customer for lost or damaged items, but may choose to do so at its sole discretion.

Service Redo: If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your service The Sneaker Hut reserves the right to redo the service again before a refund can be considered.
